Wonderful image!  Has a fantastic vibe to it...almost expect a time-traveling Delorean to appear in a flash of light...this pic has that kind of feel.  Kudos!

Thanks! Yeah there's always an element of danger in shooting lightning, but the reward is very satisfying!

Very nice shot. I had to check the photography category, I thought it was a photo manipulation from the thumbnail. Again awesome luck with that bolt, this is perfect.

Then... the weather's that bad, I suppose? Because... yeah, when it has lightnings, the weather's bad. Or, I'm wrong? :XD:

It wasn't terrible at the time, just some passing thunderstorms with a lot of cloud to ground lightning. But I'm definitely biased on what's good and bad weather because this is Oklahoma where tornadoes/hail/wind are relatively common. So a regular thunderstorm is actually pretty soothing =D

Lightning like this is very normal during thunderstorms here. Of course we get storms here all the time, so yep it's pretty normal!

I'm sorry to ask a lot of questions :X

Haha it's not a problem! :) It's a little dangerous in that you never know where the bolt is going to strike, but with all the tall buildings around it's a little safer in that they are more likely to get struck.

Does the tower lean it looks like my right side is shorter than the left side. What is the deal? It is a cool picture. I love that lighting bolt. it looks like it was directed away from the tower, that is interesting.:)

Excellent photo!

It's so hard to get lightning to cooperate when it comes to composing shots but this is so cool! If I tried this the bolt would have hidden itself right behind the tower
