Flat As a Pancake

Perhaps not all that original, but so well executed that it doesn't really matter. I love the way the ground perspective divides the composition evenly, affording equal attention to the sky and road.

I just love how e m p t y and wide open the atmosphere feels - like this road goes on forever. The big skies of Texas are well known for a reason I suppose, and they certainly give a wonderful spacious look here.

The sky is almost ridiculously blue and offers a beautiful contrast to the front and center yellow line in the foreground.

You've got a great shot here, and the lack of comments is frankly shameful. One of the best sky-scapes I've seen on dA in a while, so be proud of yourself <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
